PRIESTS
So, your little one wants to be a priest? That's admirable! When we were that age we dreamt of jobs like being an astronaut, or a cowboy, or maybe a firetruck. But, being a priest is very impressive, and definitely easier to do than become a firetruck. But, obviously, they can't become a priest on the spot. There are so many steps to becoming a priest, they have hardly begun their long journey.??
So, in the meantime, why not just let them pretend with this costume? They can play priest and pray over dinner each night, it'll be great practice for them as they start down their holy road. They always say to dress for the job you want, well, now you can apply that in its most literal sense. Whatever use they might have for this costume, we hope that it works well for them!??
FUN DETAILS??
This costume will make your child look like a man of the church! They will be wearing the instantly recognizable garb of a priest. They'll be wearing a long black robe, with buttons down the front and a mantle around the shoulders. The collar around the neck is also attached, and is possibly the most distinguishable piece of the entire costume! We've also included a belt, with a drape down the front and a hook and loop fastener on the back to hold it in place. All they will need are some black shoes and the??whole look will be complete.??
HOLY MAN
Becoming a priest will be hard. The self-control and reflection necessary to reach the point most priests do is not easy. But, by pretending from a young age, your child might have a pretty good head start! We hope that they'll make excellent role models. Who knows, maybe someday they could even become the pope.??
